Allen & Allen has hired Genoveva Border to lead its Spanish-language services and claims consulting, aiming to improve accessibility for Virginia's Spanish-speaking personal injury clients.

Allen & Allen announced the addition of Genoveva Border as Director of Spanish Services and Claims Consultant in its Richmond office. With over 14 years of experience serving Virginia's Latino community, Border will oversee the firm's Spanish-language services and assist clients with claims consulting and case support. Her role is designed to enhance communication and access to legal resources for Spanish-speaking individuals navigating personal injury claims.
Border began her legal career in Ecuador's Court of Appeals before earning a Master's degree in Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham and a second law degree from The College of Law in Birmingham, England. She practiced corporate tax law in the U.K. before transitioning to personal injury law after relocating to Virginia in 2011. Since then, she has worked extensively with Spanish-speaking clients, focusing on helping them during traumatic situations.
“In personal injury law, I can support my clients experiencing traumatic situations by taking care of the legal aspects of their cases so that they can focus on healing,” Border said.
Allen & Allen representatives noted that Border's multilingual background will strengthen the firm's ability to communicate with clients facing language barriers in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and other personal injury matters. She will work closely with attorneys and staff to ensure Spanish-speaking clients receive clear explanations about legal processes, case developments, insurance matters, and available options.
Virginia's growing Spanish-speaking population has driven demand for legal services that prioritize language accessibility and culturally informed communication. Allen & Allen has expanded its multilingual services to improve access to information and representation after serious injuries. Founded in 1910, the firm maintains offices throughout Virginia and handles a broad range of personal injury cases. Border's addition aligns with its commitment to serving communities across the Commonwealth.
