Angkor Resources Corp. is advancing exploration on two gold prospects in Cambodia through trenching at the CZ Gold target and planned drilling at the Wild Boar prospect, potentially expanding known mineralization in the region.

Angkor Resources Corp. has announced additional exploration activities on its CZ Gold and Wild Boar prospects within the Andong Meas exploration license in Cambodia's Ratanakiri Province. The company is initiating a significant trenching, sampling, assay, and analysis program at the CZ Gold Prospect, located west of the Canada Wall prospect. This target area features a 47-meter underground incline from historical artisanal mining, with the creek below described as 'Gold Placer-Mined Creek Draining CZ Zone' having been actively mined during the recent rainy season.
The planned trenching operation will run approximately 80 meters long, positioned perpendicular across the projected incline to surface, starting at the top of the exit area. This work aims to determine the geology and structure of the stockwork and its wall rocks. The company has budgeted several weeks for this program and is compensating local farmers for any loss or damage to cashew trees or other plantings during surface land use. A visual representation of the planned trenching target area is available through The google map that indicates the planned trenching target area shown in orange.
Concurrently, Angkor Resources is preparing a drill program for the Wild Boar gold prospect, located approximately 3 kilometers east of the CZ target. Previous trenching and sampling at Wild Boar has revealed narrow northwest trending southwest dipping quartz veins. In areas where artisanal miners historically extracted the upper 1.5 meters of soil, trenching has exposed abundant quartz vein float resting on weathered soil. Assay results from this material, detailed in Assays Returns 25.6 gpt Gold in Wild Boar Veins - Angkor Resources Corp, have expanded the gold anomaly to dimensions of 1.5 by 1.2 kilometers, indicating substantial mineralization potential.
The technical aspects of this exploration work have been reviewed and approved by Dennis Ouellette, the company's VP Exploration and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Ouellette is a member of The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. These exploration initiatives follow the company's previous identification of the CZ Gold Prospect, as documented in ANGKOR RESOURCES IDENTIFIES GOLD PROSPECT ON ANDONG MEAS LICENSE, CAMBODIA - Angkor Resources Corp..
The advancement of both the CZ Gold and Wild Boar prospects represents a significant step in Angkor Resources' systematic exploration approach in Cambodia. The trenching program at CZ Gold will provide critical geological data to understand the mineralization controls, while the planned drilling at Wild Boar aims to test the extent and continuity of the identified gold anomaly. These concurrent exploration efforts demonstrate the company's commitment to methodically evaluating the mineral potential of its Cambodian licenses, which are currently in their first two-year renewal term. The work could potentially lead to the definition of additional gold resources in a region with established artisanal mining activity and previously identified mineralization.
