Angkor Resources Reports Promising Initial Drilling at Andong Bor Copper-Gold Target in Cambodia

Angkor Resources Corp. (TSXV: ANK, OTCQB: ANKOF) has reported encouraging results from the first phase of its diamond drilling program at the Andong Bor copper-gold target in Cambodia. The company completed 1,099 meters of drilling in mid-July, with the full program planned at 2,800 meters, and the remaining 1,700 meters scheduled for early 2027 once the fields are dry and crops harvested.

The initial drilling focused on the Thmei North target, a one-square-kilometer copper anomaly. Three holes were drilled, each to a depth of approximately 400 meters. According to Dennis Ouellette, VP Exploration, two of the three holes encountered good porphyry and skarn mineralization over the entire drilled length, with portions of skarn especially well mineralized. The third hole contained a continuous run of over 200 meters with pyrite mineralization up to 20%.

This drilling was strategically oriented to the east to better intersect the mineralized beds, based on data from 2025 drilling which indicated that the main structures controlling mineralization strike north-northwest and dip steeply to the west. By drilling eastward, the company aims to maximize interception of mineralized sedimentary rocks as it passes through alternating lithologies of intrusive and sedimentary rocks.

The core from the completed holes is currently being logged, and selected intervals will be dispatched for assay. The second phase of the Thmei North drill program, along with activity on Thmei South, will continue in 2027.

The Andong Bor license covers 100.28 square kilometers and straddles Oddar Meanchey and Banteay Meanchey provinces. This exploration is part of Angkor's broader efforts in Cambodia, where it also holds an onshore oil and gas license in Block VIII and is planning to drill exploratory wells under a Production Sharing Contract.

Dennis Ouellette, B.Sc., P.Geo., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical disclosure in this release. The company is committed to advancing its mineral and energy projects in Cambodia, aiming to contribute to the country's resource development.
