Award-winning author Jody Sharpe invites the public to submit angel encounter stories for inclusion in her YouTube channel and a potential new book, continuing her series that weaves angelic themes into fiction.

Bestselling author Jody Sharpe has issued a call for angel stories to be featured on her YouTube channel and possibly in her next book. Sharpe, a 1st Place Winner of the 2023 National Association of Press Women's Communications Contest Award for Fiction and the 2024 award for novellas, has long collected angel encounters from her own life and from others. Now, she is formalizing the process through her website at https://jodysharpe.com. Not all submissions are accepted, but selected stories will appear on her YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zFlB6SCAJg&t=14s and may be woven into her upcoming novella, a prequel to the Mystic Bay series.
“I have heard so many angel encounters from others that I’ve been compelled to tell them in my novellas and on my channel,” Sharpe stated. “I am writing a new novella, a prequel to the Mystic Bay series, and I will weave more of new stories people tell me and those of my own into the book.” Her latest book, New Angel In Town, already incorporates such stories. In the novel, angels live as humans in the secret town of Mystic Bay, California. Guardian Angel Ron descends to ensure his charge, foster child Evan, finds a forever home, while writer Noah Greenstreet documents the townsfolk’s angel encounters. The book has received praise from readers, with one Amazon reviewer calling it “a masterclass in child advocacy, true love, & angel-ology.”
Sharpe’s other works include To Catch an Angel, Town Of Angels, Town Of Angels Christmas, The Dog Who Came For Christmas, 20 Moon Road, An Angel’s Tale, and Summer Of Angels. She also writes children’s books, such as When The Angel Sent Butterflies and Special Needs Children. The stories are available on her website at http://www.jodysharpe.com, and she runs a “Tuesdays With The Angels” blog section featuring real-life angel stories. Submissions can be made at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd.
Sharpe, a former special education teacher, began writing about angels as a form of healing after losing her daughter and husband. Her mission is to share stories of love, humor, and spiritual awakening. She recently announced two new screen treatments for her books: The Angel’s Daughter and Town Of Angels Christmas. Sharpe is available for media interviews and can be reached via email at [email protected]. All books are available at online retailers.
