AZIO AI Holdings activates initial compute infrastructure at its South Texas campus, marking a significant step toward building a 500 MW behind-the-meter power capacity hub for AI and high-performance computing.

AZIO AI Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: AZIO) has announced Atlas One, the first named development phase of Project Atlas, its expansive South Texas compute infrastructure campus. The campus, spanning more than 548 acres, is engineered for up to 500 MW of planned behind-the-meter power capacity, positioning it as a major hub for power-intensive computing workloads.
The company has activated approximately 6 MW of compute infrastructure, which is part of roughly 11 MW of secured behind-the-meter power capacity. This initial deployment has achieved approximately 97.8% uptime, demonstrating the reliability and operational readiness of the infrastructure. The planned capacity of up to 500 MW would be additional to the 11 MW secured to date, underscoring the scale of AZIO's ambitions.
AZIO is deploying capital, equipment, and engineering resources toward the initial 11 MW phase, which includes additional compute containers, generation, electrical infrastructure, natural gas pipeline and metering work, fiber, and site improvements. The company intends for subsequent phases to support AI/GPU hosting, high-performance computing, and dedicated customer capacity, while retaining designated capacity for company-operated Bitcoin mining.
A critical component of Atlas One is its connectivity. The company has entered into a Master Services Agreement with AT&T for dedicated enterprise fiber, with approximately $2.4 million committed for high-capacity connectivity. This ensures that the campus will have the robust network infrastructure necessary to support data-intensive operations.
Realizing the planned additional capacity will require further generation, equipment, permitting, financing, and customer commitments. However, the activation of the initial phase marks a significant milestone in AZIO's transformation into an integrated compute infrastructure platform.
AZIO AI Holdings, formerly Envirotech Vehicles, Inc., is developing an integrated platform spanning GPU and compute system sales, energy-backed AI and high-density compute infrastructure, hosting, and company-operated Bitcoin mining. Through Project Atlas, the company is developing behind-the-meter, power-backed campuses in Texas intended to support power-intensive compute workloads as additional generation, connectivity, customer commitments, and capital are secured.
The announcement of Atlas One is a pivotal development for AZIO and the broader compute infrastructure industry. With the growing demand for AI and high-performance computing, access to reliable, low-cost power is a critical constraint. AZIO's focus on behind-the-meter power capacity could provide a competitive advantage, offering customers and partners a turnkey solution for their compute needs. The success of this project could position AZIO as a key player in the rapidly expanding AI infrastructure market.
