The Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire Conference, led by Pastor Jim Cymbala and Carol Cymbala, aims to refresh and equip ministry leaders and worship teams with specialized tracks in teaching and music, including a rare opportunity to rehearse with the Grammy-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.

Brooklyn Tabernacle's Pastor Jim Cymbala and Carol Cymbala, Grammy Award-winning choir director, will host the Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire Conference from October 2 to 4, 2026, in New York City. The conference, designed to refresh and equip those serving in ministry, will offer two specialized tracks: a teaching track for pastors, ministry leaders, and lay workers, and a music track for worship leaders, choir members, and music ministry teams.
The teaching track will focus on biblical encouragement and collective prayer, while the music track aims to equip participants to cultivate deeper spiritual impact through music and worship. Attendees in the music track will have the rare opportunity to rehearse and sing with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, gaining hands-on experience in a world-class worship environment.
Pastor Jim Cymbala, who has served as senior pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle for more than five decades, emphasized the conference's purpose: "I've had the privilege of pastoring for more than five decades, and I know firsthand the challenges and blessings of ministry. The Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire Conference is about helping leaders and worship teams go home with a renewed heart and a fresh fire for what God has called them to do."
Carol Cymbala, who has led the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir to seven Grammy Awards, added, "Music is a powerful tool for ministry. My prayer is that every worship leader, singer, and musician who attends will encounter God's presence in a life-changing way."
Pastor Jim Cymbala is widely recognized for his best-selling works such as Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire, Fan the Flame, and Jesus Every Day, which have inspired pastors and believers worldwide. The conference will be held at the Brooklyn Tabernacle, located at 17 Smith Street, Brooklyn, NY.
