Buffalo Biodiesel Appoints Frank V. Balon as President and Chief Legal Officer

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. announced the appointment of Frank V. Balon as President and Chief Legal Officer, effective June 2, 2026. The move comes as founder Sumit Majumdar transitions to a limited partner and lead director at Verite Capital Partners, focusing on green energy and agriculture investments.

Balon brings over 15 years of experience from Steuben Foods Inc., where he served as Co-President, Chief Legal Officer, and Board Director, overseeing growth from 400 to nearly 800 employees. He earned his J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law and previously practiced at Hiscock & Barclay. His appointment follows an extensive search for a leader with both operational and legal expertise.
