BZBGEAR will showcase a complete camera-to-fiber broadcast workflow at IBC2026, highlighting how integrated acquisition, production, encoding, and transport solutions can simplify broadcast infrastructure.

BZBGEAR to Demonstrate Full Camera-to-Fiber Broadcast Chain at IBC2026

At IBC2026, BZBGEAR will present a fully integrated broadcast chain, from auto-tracking PTZ cameras to fiber transport, demonstrating a unified system rather than isolated components. The company aims to address the fragmented approach that often leaves broadcasters piecing together solutions from multiple vendors, which can lead to compatibility issues and inefficiencies. By showcasing the entire chain in operation, BZBGEAR provides a tangible example of how a seamless workflow can be achieved, potentially reducing integration time and operational complexity for broadcasters and AV integrators.

The acquisition segment features BZBGEAR's award-winning ADAMO PTZ cameras, available in NDI|HX 3 and Dante AV-H versions. These cameras output up to 4K@60Hz over HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI, with AI-powered auto-tracking in Presenter and Zone modes, integrated tally lights, and onboard microSD recording up to 1TB. The single-cable installation for data, power, and control simplifies setup. Complementing the 4K models, the ADAMO-JR series offers 1080p@60Hz with various optical zoom options, ensuring consistent control across different resolutions. This flexibility allows facilities to mix 4K and HD cameras within the same workflow, a common need in live production environments where different angles require different specifications.

Production is handled by the BG-Commander-UltraX, an all-in-one 4K switcher and PTZ joystick controller with a 7-inch touchscreen, 4D joystick, and T-bar. It includes built-in chroma key, picture-in-picture, logo overlay, and transitions, and can output as a USB webcam for streaming platforms while recording directly to USB or SD card. Camera control is via ONVIF 2.8 and VISCA over IP. This integration reduces the need for separate control and switching equipment, streamlining live production setups, especially in mobile flypacks or smaller studios where space and budget are limited.

For IP encoding, the BG-STREAM-DE encoder-decoder-recorder supports H.265/H.264 up to 1080p@60Hz, with SDI and HDMI loop-through, and transport options including SRT, RTMP, HLS, RTSP, and TS over UDP. NDI and Dante AV-H are available under license. Audio embed/de-embed and USB recording provide safety copies. This device enables facilities to transition to IP without a complete infrastructure overhaul, preserving existing SDI/HDMI investments while adding streaming and recording capabilities.

Transport is managed by the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-F, a point-to-point fiber extender that carries 8K@60Hz 4:4:4 with DSC 1.2a, uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, and visually lossless 4K@144Hz 4:4:4 up to 10 kilometers at zero-frame latency. It also supports RS-232, IR, CEC, 1G Ethernet, and USB KVM over the same fiber, eliminating ground loops and EMI. This is crucial for long-distance signal transmission in stadiums, across campuses, or between buildings, where copper solutions are impractical.

Eugene Bocharov, CEO of BZBGEAR, stated, "Every broadcaster we talk to is solving the same problem from four different directions at once — how to acquire it, how to cut it, how to get it on the network, and how to move it across a campus or a city. Showing one box at a time doesn't answer that. So this year we're bringing the whole chain to Hall 11 and running it end to end." This approach underscores the importance of interoperability and end-to-end validation, which can significantly reduce deployment risks.

IBC2026 takes place at RAI Amsterdam from September 11–14, 2026. BZBGEAR engineers will be available at Hall 11, Stand 11.A26 throughout the show to discuss system designs and technical challenges. For more information, visit bzbgear.com.
