BZBGEAR introduces REEVE™, a tablet-based control system that unifies residential AV and smart home devices without a rack or server, alongside a comprehensive residential product lineup aimed at simplifying integration and reducing costs.

At CEDIA Expo 2026, BZBGEAR is set to debut its REEVE™ control system, a new approach to residential automation that consolidates video, audio, climate, cameras, and other connected devices into a single interface organized by zones. The system is designed to eliminate the need for a rack or server PC, with the tablet on the wall acting as the controller, reducing hardware costs and installation time. REEVE™ operates locally without internet, using the cloud only for design, updates, and remote oversight, and it works with a wide range of third-party devices, including displays from Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, Sharp, TCL, Hisense, and Panasonic, as well as streaming sources like Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku TV, and Fire TV.
The REEVE™ ecosystem comprises three components: REEVE™ Studio for visual design, REEVE™ Player for client interaction, and REEVE™ Cloud for secure configuration and remote support. The software is included with compatible BZBGEAR products, with no license or activation fees, making it an attractive option for integrators. Eugene Bocharov, CEO of BZBGEAR, emphasized the importance of simplifying control systems, stating, "Control has always been the part of a residential system where good hardware goes to die — the interface is confusing, the programming is expensive, and the client stops using half of what they paid for. REEVE™ is our answer to that."
In addition to REEVE™, BZBGEAR is showcasing its expanded residential lineup at Booth C900. The XLink-ONE AV-over-IP family is designed to run on standard gigabit networking, avoiding the need for costly 10-gigabit infrastructure. The BG-IPGEAR-XTREME is a multicast transceiver over 1GbE with USB 3.1 for KVM, while the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-PRO supports 48Gbps HDMI 2.1, 4K120, video wall and multiview modes, and transmission up to 170 meters over Cat5e, making it suitable for larger homes and detached structures. The XTREME-PRO won AV Technology Best of Show at IBC 2025, and the XLink-ONE family took Best of Show at InfoComm 2026.
The AIR4KAST wireless HDMI family addresses installations with no cable path. The BG-AIR4KAST offers 4K60 at approximately 164 feet line of sight, with HDMI loop-out and IR pass-through. The BG-AIR4KAST-MKX supports one transmitter to four receivers, ideal for multi-display retrofits. The BG-AIR4KAST-PRO provides low latency (16-48 milliseconds) with 4K60 and HDR10, 1080p120, and KVM functionality. These products have received multiple awards, including Top New Technology from Commercial Integrator/CE Pro and Best of Show honors from Residential Systems and TWICE.
BZBGEAR is also addressing the need for right-sized switching with a range of matrix switchers, starting at $199 for a 4x2 and including the BG-MVS4X4-4KL, a 4x4 positioned as a sensible default for whole-home distribution. The BG-4K-VP44 is a 4x4 that functions as a seamless matrix, video wall processor, and multiviewer, with EDID management and audio de-embedding. For 8K readiness, the company offers switchers starting at $39 and matrices from $299, emphasizing that 48Gbps bandwidth enhances 4K120 performance even if 8K content is scarce.
KVM solutions are highlighted as an under-sold category in residential settings. BZBGEAR offers 4K KVM switches from $149 and 8K models starting at $399, including dual-monitor and multiview versions. Extension products, such as a 4K HDMI/USB KVM extender at $199 and a USB-C extender at $1,199, support clean, equipment-free rooms.
Visitors to Booth C900 can see live demonstrations of REEVE™ and the full lineup, with additional details to be announced. BZBGEAR is also hosting a Mortal Kombat 1 challenge station with daily prize drawings, including an award-winning BG-AIR4KAST-MKX kit.
