CAHEC Expands Affordable Housing to Louisiana with New DeRidder Community

The Community Affordable Housing Equity Corporation (CAHEC) has announced its strategic expansion into Louisiana with the development of Capstone at Cedar Street, a new 40-unit affordable housing community in DeRidder, Beauregard Parish. This Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) development represents CAHEC's first venture into Louisiana and demonstrates the organization's commitment to addressing housing needs throughout the Southeast region. The development is being constructed by The Banyan Foundation, with CAHEC serving as the tax credit syndicator for this important community investment project.

Located at Cedar Street in DeRidder, Capstone at Cedar Street will serve families earning up to 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI), providing much-needed affordable housing options in a region that has experienced limited new affordable housing development.
