Canadian Salsa Festivals Project Announces Expanded 2026 Season with Inaugural Event at Niagara Falls

The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has announced its most ambitious season to date, with a series of events running from June through to September 2026. The lineup includes the inaugural Salsa at Niagara Falls, marking a significant expansion into one of Canada's premier tourism destinations. This year's programming reflects the growing popularity and economic impact of Latin cultural festivals in the region.

The new event, Salsa at Niagara Falls, will take place on September 12 and 13, 2026, in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, and Fallsview Casino Resort. Adam Stiles, Interim President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism, expressed enthusiasm: Salsa at Niagara Falls is exactly the kind of vibrant, world-class event our destination is made for... We're delighted to welcome this celebration of Latin music, dance, and food for the first time.

CSFP has also secured expanded support from longstanding festival sponsor TD Bank Group. TD has grown its title sponsorship to include Salsa Tremblant in Quebec's Laurentians region, while renewing as title sponsor of Salsa on St. Clair in Toronto and Salsa at Blue Mountain in Collingwood. Robyn Small, Senior Manager, Philanthropy, Corporate Citizenship at TD Bank Group, noted: Festivals like TD Salsa on St. Clair bring people together to celebrate what shapes us — our stories, food, music, and art.

Returning festivals include TD Salsa at Blue Mountain (June 26–28), TD Salsa on St. Clair (July 11–12), and TD Salsa Tremblant (August 21–23). The flagship event, TD Salsa on St. Clair, Canada's largest free Latin-themed street festival, will feature over 350 live performers, including weekend headliners like JUNO nominee Andy Rubal and award-winning Latin/tropical artist Yani Borrell. The festival also offers over 35 authentic Latin food vendors representing more than 15 countries, 25+ dance instructors, and the Fiesta Parade presented by Lenpanada.

Other returning programs include the Vibrante Latin Art Exhibition at Toronto's Little EGG Gallery, free dance lessons across Southern Ontario, Salsa on Market Street (August 9), and family salsa dance lessons at Toronto museums. These initiatives aim to make Latin culture accessible to all ages and skill levels.

The expansion is supported by TLN Media Group, the founder and longstanding official media partner of Salsa in Toronto. Aldo Di Felice, President & Managing Partner of TLN Media Group, stated: Salsa in Toronto has become one of Canada's premier cultural celebrations, bringing together hundreds of thousands of people each year while showcasing the power of music, culture, and community to create meaningful social and economic impact across Ontario and beyond.

The Salsa Festival series is produced by CSFP, a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization. For more information, visit salsaintoronto.com or follow @salsaintoronto on social media.
