The 10th anniversary CENTRESTAGE fashion event achieved unprecedented scale with over 260 brands from 25 countries and attracted more than 10,000 global buyers, reinforcing Hong Kong's position as a key platform for international fashion exchange and emerging market opportunities.

The 10th anniversary CENTRESTAGE concluded successfully, marking its largest-ever scale with participation from over 260 brands representing 25 countries and regions. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, the four-day event attracted more than 10,000 trade buyers from 91 countries and regions, with significant growth in attendance from the UK, Mainland China, India, and Indonesia. Sophia Chong, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC, emphasized that CENTRESTAGE has become an essential trade platform for local, Asian, and international fashion brands, setting records in scale and internationalization this year.
A survey conducted during the fair revealed that 56% of respondents expect sales to increase over the next 12 to 24 months, reflecting optimism in the industry's outlook. Key opportunities identified include rising demand from emerging markets (38%) and growth potential in fashion accessories (36%). Challenges such as global economic fluctuations (44%) and keen competition (40%) were also noted. The event featured six themed zones, including a newly launched Accessories zone, responding to market trends and consumer preferences.
Cross-cultural craftsmanship emerged as a significant trend, with brands showcasing traditional techniques like embroidery, weaving, and tie-dyeing. Highlights included Hong Kong brand Yue Hwa Chinese Products Emporium Limited using Gambier Canton Silk, a national intangible cultural heritage fabric, and Isabelle.C incorporating Kesi silk tapestry weaving. International participation was strong, with the UK as Partner Country presenting 16 creative brands, and Denmark's Vald Showroom debuting curated selections like HENRIK VIBSKOV. Buyers praised the fair's global appeal, with Stavros Karelis of Machine-A noting CENTRESTAGE as an exciting platform for new talent and a gateway to Asia's vibrant market.
The event included over 50 fashion shows and events, such as CENTRESTAGE ELITES featuring couturier Guo Pei's "Gilternity: An Everlasting Radiance" collection and a masterclass by Guo Pei. Fashion Hong Kong celebrated its 10th anniversary with a show highlighting four local brands, while the FASHIONALLY platform showcased emerging designers. The Redress Design Award 2025 finals promoted circular fashion, with awards presented to designers like Carla Zhang and Hugo Dumas.
