CHARBONE Hydrogen Corporation has completed the dismantling of hydrogen production assets acquired in Quebec City and successfully transported the main components to its Sorel-Tracy facility. This logistical achievement represents a critical milestone in the company's timeline for commissioning Quebec's first clean ultra-high purity hydrogen production unit, which remains on schedule for November 2025 startup.

The company's CEO Dave B. Gagnon emphasized the significance of this transfer, stating that moving the strategic equipment to Sorel-Tracy brings the company closer to initial clean UHP hydrogen production in Quebec while optimizing investments through asset reuse. The dismantling and transport operations were executed by CHARBONE's technical teams and specialized partners, ensuring complete preservation of module and system integrity throughout the process.

This equipment transfer stems from the strategic transaction announced on September 5, 2025, through which CHARBONE secured hydrogen production and refueling assets. The acquisition not only accelerates time to market but also enables significant capital cost reduction by utilizing already operational and proven equipment. The company plans to begin reintegration and connection work at the Sorel-Tracy site in the coming weeks, moving closer to operational status.

Gagnon acknowledged the contributions of partners, suppliers, and internal teams, noting that CHARBONE's vision of building a modular clean UHP hydrogen production network across North America is becoming increasingly tangible. The successful equipment relocation demonstrates the company's ability to execute complex logistical operations while maintaining project timelines, positioning CHARBONE to meet its November 2025 production target for Quebec's inaugural clean hydrogen facility.
