Community Organizations Unite for Heart of Giving Holiday Event to Support Families in Need

The Heart of Giving Holiday Event, presented by Ladies Touch Inc. in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department South Los Angeles Station, the West Athens Westmont Task Force, and numerous nonprofit partners, will take place on December 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the South Los Angeles Station front parking lot. This community gathering aims to deliver essential resources, uplifting moments, and connection for families in need during the holiday season. Spokesperson Ewanda Jackson, Founder of Ladies Touch Inc., emphasized the event's focus on dignity, community care, and mutual support during significant times.

The event will offer free holiday-ready essentials including food, clothing, and gifts for adults and children, along with hot meals, treats, and a holiday photo opportunity with Santa presented by LuvMe. A complementary gift wrapping booth for donations will be available, alongside outreach tables and community resources from participating organizations. Due to high demand and to ensure fair distribution, families must register in advance through Ladies Touch Inc. and partnering organizations to receive gifts, clothing, food packages, and access to the Santa photo experience.
