Compliance Vine Live Launches to Automate Real-Time DTC Wine Compliance Checks

Joy of Wine Company Inc., d/b/a Compliance Vine, today announced the launch of Compliance Vine Live, a real-time compliance engine that checks every direct-to-consumer (DTC) wine order against the shipping laws of its destination state — automatically, in milliseconds, inside the e-commerce platforms wineries already use. The app is now available on Shopify and Commerce7, with additional platform integrations on the way.

Once installed, Compliance Vine Live works quietly in the background of every sale. When a customer places an order, the engine instantly verifies that the winery is licensed to ship to the destination state, that the order stays within state volume limits, that age verification requirements are met, that the destination address is not in a restricted locality, and that the correct taxes are applied. Orders that pass go through untouched; those that don't are flagged or stopped before they ship. Every decision is recorded in a tamper-evident, audit-ready log.
