Datavault AI's acquisition of CyberCatch will integrate AI-driven cybersecurity compliance into its GPU ecosystem, enhancing its data and acoustic technology offerings for regulated industries.

Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT) has announced a definitive agreement to acquire all of CyberCatch Holdings (TSX.V: CYBE) (OTCQB: CYBHF) in an all-cash transaction valued at $94.5 million, or $3.53 per share, through a court-approved plan of arrangement. The acquisition is poised to integrate CyberCatch’s patented, AI-enabled continuous cybersecurity compliance and risk mitigation platform into Datavault AI’s Quantum Private Network (QPN) GPU ecosystem, a move that could significantly enhance the company’s value proposition in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
CyberCatch’s platform leverages generative and agentic AI to continuously assess cybersecurity controls, conduct penetration testing, and measure cyber risk across a broad array of regulatory and security frameworks, including NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800-171, CMMC 2.0, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. This capability is particularly relevant as organizations face increasing pressure to comply with stringent data protection regulations and mitigate cyber threats. By incorporating CyberCatch’s technology, Datavault AI aims to deploy it as the cybersecurity and continuous-compliance layer across its existing technology suite, which includes DataValue®, DataScore®, and Information Data Exchange® (IDE®), as well as its Acoustic Sciences technologies and deployments in regulated industries.
The transaction, subject to customary board, stock exchange, regulatory, and shareholder approvals, is expected to see CyberCatch operate as a Datavault AI subsidiary from San Diego, with founder, Chairman, and CEO Sai Huda serving as president of the subsidiary. This strategic acquisition aligns with Datavault AI’s broader mission to lead in AI-driven data experiences, valuation, and monetization of assets in the Web 3.0 environment. The company’s cloud-based platform already provides comprehensive solutions across its Acoustic Sciences and Data Sciences divisions, serving industries such as sports & entertainment, events & venues, biotech, education, fintech, real estate, healthcare, and energy.
The integration of CyberCatch’s cybersecurity and compliance capabilities is expected to enhance the robustness of Datavault AI’s offerings, particularly for clients in regulated sectors that require rigorous security and compliance measures. This move comes at a time when cyber threats are escalating, and regulatory requirements are becoming more stringent, making such capabilities critical for businesses. The acquisition could also provide Datavault AI with a competitive edge by offering a more integrated solution that combines data monetization, acoustic technologies, and now advanced cybersecurity.
