DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG announces record revenue of EUR 490 million and EBITDA of EUR 32.1 million for FY2025, driven by over 12 million tickets sold and strategic acquisitions, with strong visibility for FY2026 despite expected temporary revenue dip.

DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG (“DEAG”) reported a highly successful financial year 2025, achieving new record highs in revenue and earnings. Revenue surged by approximately 33% to EUR 490.0 million, with Q4 alone contributing EUR 167.2 million, a 42.9% increase year-on-year. EBITDA more than doubled to EUR 32.1 million, up from EUR 14.4 million in the prior year, while the EBITDA margin improved from 3.9% to 6.6%.
The company sold over 12 million tickets, surpassing the previous year’s 11 million, with a significant portion sold via its proprietary ticketing platforms including myticket.de and gigantic.com. By year-end, DEAG had already sold approximately 3 million tickets for 2026 events, securing EUR 151.5 million in future revenue. This advance sales visibility provides a solid foundation and planning reliability for the current financial year.
DEAG aggressively pursued its buy-and-build strategy, acquiring a majority stake in the ROCKHARZ Festival, the largest rock and metal festival in eastern Germany with over 25,000 annual visitors. Internationally, MC2 Live in Italy delivered exceptional performance in its first full year post-acquisition. The company also increased its stakes in Fane Productions, a leader in the Spoken Word & Literary Events segment, and the UK ticketing platform gigantic.com to 100%.
High-profile events in 2025 included tours by Ed Sheeran, Iron Maiden, and Till Lindemann, whose European tour sold over 190,000 tickets. The Christmas Gardens series attracted around 1.6 million visitors, and events like “Disney on Ice” and the Gianni Versace Retrospective were major successes. The festival summer featured strong performances from Indian Spirit, NATURE ONE, and Belladrum Tartan Heart.
For 2026, DEAG has a dense event calendar featuring tours by Judas Priest, Die Toten Hosen, and Gorillaz, as well as unique events like “Monster Jam” at Schalke arena and “The Lord of the Rings in Concert.” Post-reporting period, DEAG acquired remaining minority interests in Wizard Live and LiveGeist Entertainment, and a majority stake in the Juicy Beats festival.
DEAG’s financial structure remains robust, bolstered by a new EUR 75 million corporate bond. While Group revenue for FY2026 is expected to temporarily dip below the previous year due to industry cyclicality, the company forecasts revenue exceeding EUR 400 million with an improved EBITDA margin. CEO Detlef Kornett stated, “The measures we implemented in the transformation year 2024 had a clearly positive impact. DEAG is very well positioned to sustainably continue its growth trajectory.”
