DFW Car & Toy Museum Launches with Extensive Collection of Over 200 Iconic Vehicles

Automotive enthusiasts and history buffs have a new destination to explore with the grand opening of the DFW Car & Toy Museum on April 1. Located in North Fort Worth, the museum promises an immersive journey through automotive history, showcasing over 200 carefully curated vehicles in a 150,000-square-foot facility.

The museum's crown jewel is a rare 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint, a testament to Italian automotive engineering and design. This left-hand-drive vehicle, originally delivered to the United Kingdom and later transferred to Switzerland, represents a pinnacle of classic car restoration and performance modification.

Visitors will discover a meticulously restored automobile that goes beyond aesthetic preservation. The Giulietta Sprint features a custom-engineered 1.4L twin-cam inline-four engine, enhanced with high-performance components like Wiseco pistons, Carillo rods, and twin Weber carburetors. This attention to mechanical detail reflects the museum's commitment to celebrating automotive craftsmanship.

The museum offers a unique experience for diverse audiences, with free admission and a dog-friendly environment. The museum's collection, formerly known as the DFW Elite Toy Museum, represents decades of passionate curation by founder Ron Sturgeon. By preserving and showcasing these automotive treasures, the museum ensures that automotive history remains vivid and accessible to current and future generations.
