Dr. Joscelyn Ramos Campbell, an award-winning national spokesperson, multimedia marketing strategist, and bilingual disability advocate, was honored as a 2026 Woman of Impact (Kingdom Woman) award recipient during the annual Mood-Setter Social in Groveland, Florida. The event, hosted by Pastor Jodie McCoy, founder of Mood-Setter Conference and Events and first lady of Hope International Church, celebrated women who lead with compassion, positivity, purpose, and meaningful community impact.

Dr. Ramos Campbell expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the importance of community support for those facing challenges. She stated, "To humbly be called a ‘Kingdom Woman’ feels like an invisible embrace and nudge to continue a life dedicated to purpose and service. Especially when your life is dedicated to the service of others, while raising a child with special needs, and living with an illness yourself." Her remarks highlighted the isolating nature of pain and grief and the vital role of love and support in transforming struggles into victories.

The Mood-Setter Social, held at Hope International Church, brought together women from Lake County and Central Florida for brunch, fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual renewal. The event featured an inspirational address by Pastor Alexis Stephens Ministries, Inc., and a fashion show coordinated by stylist Barbara Davis-Hudson. It was supported by fellow honoree Doris Shazier of Shazier Coaching & Consulting, LLC and Dr. Calandria Smith of Landi-Lou Productions.

Dr. Ramos Campbell credited her spiritual mentors, Sr. Pastors Dr. Tony and Jodie McCoy, for their legacy of service. She noted that Hope International Church, which started with five members in a home in 2004, now has a worship campus on State Road 33 and operates Hope Preparatory Academy (K-12). Through her nonprofit, Hope Torchlighters, and services at the new Hope Wellness Center, Dr. Ramos Campbell expands advocacy and support for special needs and neurodiverse families, including Buddy Break Respite Care, Beacon of Hope Support Group, VIP Sunday, therapy-based events, job training, and life skills development.

Dr. Ramos Campbell was supported at the event by Luzel Garcia, founder of The Dream Academy (a K-12 school for students with various abilities); Tania Santos, leader with WeSpeak: Parent Support Group of Lake County; and Barrie Martinez, advocate and owner of Amber Treasures at Universal Studios Orlando. These collaborations underscore the collective effort to serve families with special needs.

The recognition underscores the ongoing work of Dr. Ramos Campbell and Hope Torchlighters in fostering inclusion, wellness, and family-centered support. As she stated, "This is the work. This is the mission. This is the legacy. This is the impact."
