Darren Ewert and Mike Dreher's keynote at Enagic Canada's 20th anniversary highlights the growing influence of their 276,000-member online business community and the mentor-led model they say is reshaping network marketing.

Darren Ewert and Mike Dreher, co-founders of the online business community known as the Dream Team, were featured leadership speakers at Enagic Canada's 20th anniversary celebration in Vancouver on September 20, 2026. The event, presented by Enagic as its 52nd Anniversary Global Recognition Celebration, drew more than 1,200 attendees, according to the Dream Team.
The appearance matters because it places the Dream Team's online-first, mentor-led approach at the center of a major direct-selling milestone. Enagic Canada has operated since 2006, and its parent company describes itself as a pioneer in alkaline water ionization technologies since 1974, with more than 50 years of heritage in Japan. Its product line includes the Leveluk series of machines, such as the Leveluk K8, SD501DX and SD501 Platinum, as well as the Anespa DX home spa system. By featuring Ewert and Dreher as leadership speakers, Enagic is effectively endorsing a distribution model built on social media communities rather than traditional in-person networks.
Ewert and Dreher are independent Enagic distributors who reached the 10-year mark in the industry in April 2026. They built the Dream Team online, starting with a Facebook group of 30 people in 2016. In a March 2026 interview on the Direct Selling Accelerator podcast, they said the group had grown to about 276,000 members. That scale gives the pair a significant platform to influence how new distributors are trained and recruited.
The pair came to online business from different starting points. According to an earlier interview on the same podcast, Dreher worked in corporate sales and marketing before moving into business coaching, while Ewert brought an online marketing background that included email marketing. They describe their approach as online network marketing, with a mentor-led model in which the person who introduces a new member guides rather than does the work for them. That distinction is important: it positions the Dream Team as a training and support layer, not a done-for-you service, which may appeal to beginners but also places responsibility for results on individual members.
"It was an honour to be featured among the leadership speakers at Enagic Canada's anniversary celebration and to be part of a milestone that so many people in the Enagic community worked toward," said Darren Ewert, co-founder of the Dream Team. Mike Dreher added, "Celebrating a milestone like this alongside so many people from the Enagic community was a highlight of our year."
The Enagic celebration followed the Dream Team BC Gather and Grow, which the community held in Vancouver on September 19 with about 500 people attending in person and about 500 more online. Earlier in 2026, the community launched a Coaching Training Program in March, met with team members at a Toronto Team Summit in April, and held Gather and Grow events in Ireland and the United Kingdom in May and in Florida in June. The implications extend beyond one anniversary event. As direct-selling companies look to rebuild momentum after years of pandemic-driven disruption, the Dream Team's model offers a template: large online communities, frequent regional events, and structured mentorship. But the model also carries risks. The Dream Team itself notes that individual results vary and no income is guaranteed, a reminder that growth in membership does not automatically translate into success for every participant.
