ESGold Discovers Promising Untested VMS Target at Montauban Project

Mining exploration company ESGold Corp. has uncovered a promising untested geological target at its Montauban Project in Quebec, potentially signaling substantial mineral discovery opportunities. Through a comprehensive review of historical geophysical survey data, the company identified a large-scale, high-conductivity geophysical anomaly in the southwestern portion of its expanded 255-claim property.

The newly identified zone, covering 13,116 hectares, exhibits a strong conductive and magnetic signature characteristic of buried sulfide-rich volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) environments. VMS deposits are known for hosting significant mineral concentrations, making this discovery particularly noteworthy for potential future exploration efforts.

ESGold is currently developing the first comprehensive 3D geological model of the project, integrating multiple data sources including VTEM and Total Magnetic Intensity (TMI) surveys, over 950 historical drill records, and upcoming Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) survey results. This sophisticated modeling approach will help guide future targeted drilling strategies.

While the company continues advancing toward near-term production through tailings reprocessing, this southwestern anomaly represents a strategic shift toward exploring larger-scale mineral discovery potential.
