EM&T's fiscal 2026 and 2027 revenue guidance highlights the transformative impact of its Pohang expansion, which is set to increase rare earth magnet production capacity tenfold and address critical supply chain needs outside China.

Evolution Metals & Technologies Targets $460 Million Revenue by 2027 as Pohang Expansion Advances

Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: EMAT) has provided initial revenue guidance for fiscal years 2026 and 2027, signaling a major inflection point for the company as it advances its expansion in Pohang, Republic of Korea. The company expects revenue of $5 million to $8 million in fiscal 2026, followed by a substantial jump to $400 million to $460 million in fiscal 2027. This guidance reflects the transition from the current production base to the first full year of operations benefiting from the Pohang expansion, which is poised to significantly scale EM&T's rare earth magnet production capacity.

The expansion centers on the delivery and installation of thirteen additional ULVAC sintered magnet production machines, scheduled for November 2026. These machines are expected to increase annual rare earth magnet production capacity from approximately 1,000 metric tons to approximately 10,000 metric tons, including approximately 6,000 metric tons of high-performance sintered magnets. This tenfold increase in capacity positions EM&T as a major player in the global rare earth magnet market, which is critical for electric vehicles, wind turbines, and consumer electronics.

Supporting this growth, EM&T plans to increase electrical infrastructure at its Pohang operations from 130 MW to approximately 750 MW, acquire approximately 1.3 million square feet of adjacent land, and has received a conditionally approved grant of approximately $20.7 million from Pohang City and Gyeongbuk Province. These investments underscore the strategic importance of the expansion and the strong local support for EM&T's operations.

EM&T has also secured non-China NdPr metal sourced from SRE Vietnam and announced Tier-1 OEM quality certifications across six grades of high-performance sintered NdFeB magnets. These certifications validate the company's product quality and open doors to supply agreements with major original equipment manufacturers, further de-risking its revenue projections.

The company emphasized that its fiscal 2027 guidance reflects anticipated utilization during the production ramp rather than the full revenue potential of the planned capacity at full utilization. This conservative approach suggests that the long-term revenue opportunity could be even greater as utilization rates improve.

For investors, the guidance provides a clear roadmap for EM&T's growth trajectory. The expansion addresses a critical need for a diversified supply chain of rare earth magnets outside of China, which currently dominates global production. As geopolitical tensions and supply chain concerns drive demand for alternative sources, EM&T's vertically integrated model—spanning end-of-life electronics and batteries, high-grade concentrates, and finished rare earth magnets—could become increasingly valuable.

The company's ability to secure raw materials from non-China sources, such as SRE Vietnam, further strengthens its position as a reliable supplier. With the global shift toward electrification and renewable energy, rare earth magnets are essential components, and EM&T's expanded capacity will help meet rising demand.
