Florida Education Institute Hosts Culinary Events to Showcase Student Talent and Strengthen Community Ties

Florida Education Institute is hosting a series of community-oriented culinary events this week, highlighting the talents of its culinary arts students and faculty while strengthening connections through shared food experiences. The week's activities begin with a collaboration between FEI's Culinary Arts program and Univision, where students are gaining hands-on experience by catering a special studio event for media professionals. This partnership offers students exposure to industry standards and networking opportunities while showcasing their culinary creativity to a broader audience.

On Thursday, the institute is organizing a campus pizza gathering designed to promote student relaxation and camaraderie between classes. The complimentary event aims to help students connect and unwind while reinforcing the sense of community that FEI emphasizes throughout its educational approach.

The week concludes with an Adult Cooking Workshop – Latin Fiesta Night at Doral Central Park on Friday evening. This hands-on cooking class offers participants the opportunity to learn new culinary techniques while enjoying gourmet dishes with paired drinks. The $40 per person ticket provides access to an immersive culinary experience featuring menu items including tostones with avocado crème and mango pico, mojo-marinated skirt steak with yuca mash and chimichurri, and dulce de leche lava cake.
