Florida's largest home design event returns to Fort Lauderdale with celebrity appearances, expert presentations, and hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations in home remodeling and design.

The Home Design & Remodeling Expo returns to Fort Lauderdale for Labor Day weekend, August 29 through September 1, 2025, at the Broward County Convention Center. This four-day event represents Florida's premier home design gathering, featuring hundreds of exhibitors showcasing thousands of products and services ranging from remodeling solutions and smart home technology to outdoor kitchens, bathrooms, sustainable design, furniture, art, and décor.
Celebrity designer Ty Pennington, known for his work on Trading Spaces, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and Rock the Block, will appear on the Home Design Stage Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 PM. Pennington will share design tips, home remodeling insights, and host Q&A and meet-and-greet sessions with attendees. The event's significance lies in providing direct access to industry celebrities and experts who can offer practical advice and inspiration for home improvement projects.
The Home Design Stage programming includes multiple expert presentations throughout the weekend. On Saturday at 2:00 PM, RWorld President Jonathan Lickstein will present Building Broward: Real Estate Insights & the New Construction Wave, featuring a panel discussion with industry leaders about lifestyle and design trends, supply chain challenges, renovation versus relocation considerations, and the evolving role of realtors. These discussions provide valuable market insights for homeowners and professionals alike.
Culinary demonstrations add another dimension to the event, with Hell's Kitchen standout Chef Amanda Currie presenting her Flor-ibbean fusion style at 2:00 PM on Saturday. Executive Chef Bhavesh Patel follows at 4:00 PM with a demonstration of Kadahi Chicken, cooked in a traditional Indian wok, blending Indian heritage with global techniques. On Sunday at 2:00 PM, Chefs Anthony Garcia Montero and Brianna Long of A|B Private Affairs will demonstrate their globally inspired, coastal cuisine.
The Designer's Show House represents a key attraction, featuring three top South Florida designers—Camila Crispino, Perla Lichi, and Catherina De Nicolo—who have created fully realized spaces using products available throughout the show. This walk-through experience offers attendees exclusive access to cutting-edge interior design solutions that blend creativity, luxury, and practical applications. The importance of this feature lies in demonstrating how various products and design concepts can be integrated into cohesive, livable spaces.
Tickets for the event are available for purchase at https://www.homeshows.com/tickets/, with on-site parking available at the Northport Parking Garage. The event runs Friday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday (Labor Day) from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Produced by Home Show Management Corp. with over four decades of experience, the expo serves as a comprehensive resource for homeowners, interior designers, architects, contractors, realtors, and design enthusiasts seeking inspiration and innovative solutions for their living spaces.
