GEODIS Names Laura Ritchey as President & CEO of Americas Region

GEODIS, a global leader in transport and logistics, has appointed Laura Ritchey as President & CEO of the Americas region, a role that also includes membership on the Group’s Executive Board. Ritchey's leadership is expected to drive growth across the region's diverse business units, including contract logistics, freight forwarding, and transportation, overseeing nearly 20,000 employees across eight countries.

Marie-Christine Lombard, Chief Executive Officer of GEODIS, highlighted Ritchey's industry expertise and leadership qualities as pivotal for navigating the complexities of the current logistics landscape and strengthening GEODIS' market position. Ritchey's background includes over 30 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on retail and e-commerce, most recently serving as CEO at Radial, Inc.

Ritchey's appointment follows the retirement of Mike Honious, who has contributed significantly to the supply chain industry over 30 years, including two decades at GEODIS. Honious will continue to support the transition in an advisory capacity and maintain his involvement with the GEODIS Foundation and GEODIS Compassion Fund.
