Global Emergency Responders Trained in Chlorine-Related Incident Response

Emergency responders and hazardous materials professionals from across North America and beyond convened at the Mississippi State Fire Academy for an intensive training program designed to enhance critical safety skills and emergency response capabilities. The Chlorine Institute's annual CHLOREP Team Training brought together 124 participants from 30 states and four countries to develop comprehensive strategies for managing potential chlorine-related emergencies.

The training program, part of the Chlorine Emergency Plan (CHLOREP), represents a crucial mutual aid initiative aimed at ensuring rapid, expert support during chlorine incidents throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada. With 75 expert instructors leading the training, participants engaged in hands-on learning experiences focused on real-world emergency scenarios, reflecting the critical importance of preparedness in industries relying on chlorine.
