Golden Cariboo Discovers Promising Gold Anomalies in British Columbia Property

Geological exploration at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property has uncovered two substantial gold anomalies that could represent significant potential for future mineral development. The discoveries, identified through MMI soil sampling, extend the known mineralization zones beyond previous drilling campaigns and offer promising prospects for future exploration efforts.

David Mark, a geological expert, conducted detailed analysis of soil samples covering approximately 1.7 kilometers by 0.5 kilometers between Hixon Creek and Buckley Creek. The investigation revealed two primary gold anomalies with distinct characteristics that suggest substantial mineral potential.

The first anomaly, located at the eastern edge of the survey area's northern section, spans 240 meters north by at least 135 meters east. Positioned 260 meters north of a previous drill hole, this target represents the strongest gold anomaly identified on the property and remains open for further exploration to the east.

The second anomaly presents a more complex mineralization profile, featuring not only gold but also traces of copper, silver, arsenic, cadmium, cobalt, molybdenum, lead, antimony, and zinc. Spanning 200 meters north by 500 meters east, this zone is situated 600 meters north of the previous drill hole and remains open to the north, west, and east.

These discoveries are particularly significant for Golden Cariboo Resources, as they expand the potential mineral targets within the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property. The company plans to conduct expanded trenching and drilling activities during the 2025 exploration season to further investigate these promising anomalies.

Located in an area with a rich gold mining history, the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property sits near regions that have produced over 101 placer gold creeks along a 90-kilometer trend.
