Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE:GCC) (OTC:GCCFF) announced that drill hole QGQ25-29, completed on April 19, 2026 at its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property in British Columbia, intercepted numerous mineralized zones and may have identified a new zone approximately 600 meters vertically below the initial Discovery trench. The hole was collared at the same pad as QGQ24-25 and drilled to a depth of about 660 meters at an orientation of 170 degrees and -72 degrees dip, targeting modelled data adjacent to the greenstone contact.

The end of the hole, near 600 meters vertical depth, intersected andesitic tuff with moderate sericite-silica alteration. Quartz-carbonate veinlets comprise 3–5% of the rock, locally increasing to 10–12%, with approximately 2% disseminated and replacement pyrite. Logging and sampling are in progress, with assays from the top of the hole currently pending. Maps are available at https://goldencariboo.com/news/.

Drill hole QGQ25-28, collared about 80 meters north of QGQ26-29, has assays nearly completed and expected within the week. The company’s Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) is in progress, with validation of all databases and additional technical studies underway. The latest drill hole is planned to be included in the MRE, along with the company’s 28 other NQ-sized drill holes and up to nine historical drill holes from the Property.

“We are very pleased with the early indications from drill hole QGQ26‑29,” said J. Frank Callaghan, President and CEO. “The successful interception of multiple target zones and the emergence of a possible new mineralized horizon half a kilometer deep highlights the momentum building across the Project.”

The technical information has been reviewed and approved by David Mark, an independent consultant and Qualified Person under NI 43-101. Golden Cariboo’s Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property spans 94,899 hectares and is bordered by Osisko Development along a favorable corridor adjacent to the Spanish and Eureka thrust faults. The property includes the Quesnelle Quartz gold-silver deposit discovered in 1865.
