Golden Cariboo Resources Reports Significant Gold Intercept at Quesnelle Property

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. announced results from diamond drill holes at its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property located northeast of Hixon, British Columbia. Drill hole QGQ25-27 intersected 0.89 grams per tonne gold over 70.65 meters from near surface at 14.20 meters depth within the Halo zone. This intercept included higher-grade sections of 3.25 g/t gold over 8.20 meters and 3.86 g/t gold over 5.20 meters. The company noted that interval widths reported have insufficient data to reliably estimate true width.

The drill hole was terminated prematurely due to technical issues but was drilled at the preferred orientation of 353 degrees. Another drill hole, QGQ25-26, intersected large quantities of andesitic flow, which is not a favorable host rock for quartz veining. Drill hole QGQ25-28 is currently ongoing, testing the northwest extension of the Halo zone. The company's exploration activities are focused on delineating what appears to be a significant mineralized system at the property.

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. President and CEO Frank Callaghan stated that intersecting nearly 71 meters of continuous gold mineralization from near surface represents another strong indication of the scale and continuity developing within the Halo zone. Results like this reinforce confidence that the company is delineating a significant mineralized system at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz property. As drilling continues to expand the Halo zone and test the broader trend, each hole adds to the dataset that will support the company's planned mineral resource estimate.

The company implemented quality assurance and quality control measures with samples including blanks, standards and coarse reject duplicates constituting 5% of the total number of samples. All reported drilling utilized NQ core, which was logged then split in half before being sent to the laboratory. The drill core samples were sent to the accredited MSALABS laboratory in Prince George for analysis. Samples were crushed to greater than 70% passing below 2 millimeters and split using a riffle splitter, with 250-gram splits pulverized to greater than 85% passing below 75 microns.

An aqua regia digest with an inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy finish was used for 35-element analysis on 0.5-gram aliquots. Additionally, PhotonAssay analysis was conducted for gold and silver. This analysis uses a larger sample size of 250-500 grams compared to 30 or 50 grams in a fire assay, providing a more thorough assessment of gold distribution in coarse gold settings characteristic of the Halo zone, where nugget effects can impact conventional assay results. The laboratory is accredited for the procedures performed and entirely independent from the company.

The technical information in the announcement has been reviewed and approved by Jean Pautler, an independent consultant commissioned by the company. Pautler is a Professional Geoscientist registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of BC and licensed by Engineers and Geoscientists BC, and is a Qualified Person with respect to NI 43-101 standards. The property is situated along a favorable corridor adjacent to the Spanish and Eureka thrust faults over a 94,899-hectare area. The geological setting shows strong similarities with the Spanish Mountain gold deposit, situated 120 kilometers towards the southeast along the same geological trend.
