Golden Cariboo Resources Reports Significant Gold Intersection at Quesnelle Property

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. has announced drill results from its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property, including a significant intersection of 0.56 grams per tonne gold over 99.84 meters in drill hole QGQ25-23. This intersection, which includes a higher-grade zone of 1.00 g/t gold over 40.56 meters, represents a notable development in the company's exploration program targeting gold mineralization in British Columbia's Cariboo region. The technical information has been reviewed by independent consultant Jean Pautler, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101 standards.

The company reported that drill holes QGQ25-21 and QGQ25-24 also intersected intermittent anomalous gold mineralization, though both were terminated early due to mechanical issues while drilling. All holes ended within anomalous intersections, suggesting the potential for continued mineralization beyond the drilled intervals. The company notes that interval widths reported currently have insufficient data to reliably estimate true width, and gold grades have been capped at 10 g/t for reporting purposes.

Ongoing drilling operations in the fall are testing areas north of the Halo zone, with drill hole QGQ25-28 currently in progress. The company is targeting proximity to the greenstone and argillite inferred contact to vector into further mineralization to the north. This exploration strategy builds on the property's historical significance as part of the Cariboo Gold Rush, with the Quesnelle Quartz gold-silver deposit originally discovered in 1865 and developed over approximately 150 by 150 meters at the Main zone.

The geological setting of gold mineralization at the Quesnelle property shows strong similarities with the Spanish Mountain gold deposit, located 120 kilometers southeast along the same geological trend. As a sediment-hosted vein deposit, Spanish Mountain is considered part of the epizonal orogenic subclass that includes some of the world's largest gold deposits. The company's property is situated along a favorable corridor adjacent to the Spanish and Eureka thrust faults over a 94,899-hectare area and is bordered by Osisko Development at the north end of the Cariboo Gold Project.

Historically, over 101 placer gold creeks along the 90-kilometer trend from the Cariboo Hudson mine north to the Quesnelle property have recorded production, with successful placer mining continuing to present day. The property's location 4 kilometers northeast of Hixon in central British Columbia provides road accessibility for ongoing exploration activities. These latest drill results contribute to understanding the mineralization potential in a region with established historical production and geological similarities to significant gold deposits globally.
