GRE Alpha is showcasing its most ambitious product lineup yet at Light + Building 2026, including dynamic light-distribution technology and battery-less wireless controls, marking a significant expansion from its previous consortium participation to a dedicated exhibition space.

GRE Alpha is returning to Light + Building 2026 with a full lineup of new products and live demonstrations, marking a significant expansion from its previous participation within the EnOcean consortium to a dedicated booth at the Frankfurt trade fair. The company will occupy Hall 8.0, Booth G37 from March 8–13 at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, providing attendees with hands-on access to its latest innovations in lighting and building technology. Richard Fong, director at GRE Alpha, emphasized this transition represents a turning point, stating the independent booth allows the company to fully showcase its innovation breadth and provide a more focused experience for partners and customers.
The showcase features several key product developments, with Lumifree technology taking center stage. This world-leading dynamic light-distribution control technology from JDI will be demonstrated through collaborations with Dauer's Lumifree-based Uplight and XK Glow's Lumifree-based light system. Fong explained the significance of this collaboration, noting that integrating these beam-shaping advancements into GRE Alpha's power solutions helps redefine how light is shaped and experienced in modern architectural spaces, moving beyond simply powering lights to enhancing light quality and application.
Additional product highlights include a new 40W RFID/NFC driver branded and distributed by partners at CDI, and the LUNA light switch—a battery-less, energy-harvesting Bluetooth rocker switch enabling wireless building integration without battery maintenance. Fong described this innovation as a game-changer for building management that exemplifies the smart and sustainable solutions the company is bringing to the market. The company will also display one of the industry's widest arrays of smart control modules featuring integrations with Casambi, EnOcean, DiiA, and Tuya, alongside products from its Japan and China-based lines. The full catalog is available here.
Fong emphasized the company's belief that the future of lighting is intelligent and interconnected, noting these seamless integrations with world-class partners make smart lighting more accessible than ever. The expanded presence at Light + Building 2026 reflects GRE Alpha's commitment to advancing lighting technology through collaborations and innovative product development, with the company looking forward to connecting with integrators, OEMs, specifiers, and lighting partners from around the world at Hall 8.0, Booth G37 during the March event.
