H2APEX Raises 2025 Revenue Forecast Following Strategic Shift to Hydrogen Production Expansion

The H2APEX Group SCA announced an upward revision of its full-year 2025 revenue forecast to between €9 million and €10 million, representing a significant increase from the previous projection of €6 million to €8 million. This adjustment reflects the early positive effects of the company's strategic shift toward expanding its own hydrogen production capacities and providing services to external customers. The accelerated revenue growth has materialized sooner than anticipated, indicating the effectiveness of the company's revised business approach.

CEO Peter RoBner emphasized that the increased forecast validates the company's strategic decision to focus on hydrogen production capacity expansion. He stated that substantial progress has been made during the first nine months of 2025, with the strategic partnership with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners representing a milestone achievement. The joint IPCEI-funded project in Lubmin, for which H2APEX has provided initial project development services, has contributed significantly to the unexpected revenue increase. This project is expected to reach 100 MW capacity in its first expansion phase.

Beyond the major partnership with CIP, H2APEX plans to implement smaller-scale hydrogen projects with decentralized production capacities. These smaller-volume plants are designed to meet existing hydrogen demand promptly without requiring pipeline connections. The company anticipates that operating its own facilities will generate the majority of revenue in the medium to long term, providing greater revenue stability, predictable cash flow, and improved scalability for sustainable growth.

Additional revenue potential exists through services provided to external customers and joint ventures, including hydrogen plant operation, maintenance, and project development services. The company continues to advance its hydrogen storage solutions development to enable efficient transport of this critical raw material.
