Harpreet Singh Rai Joins Loop to Drive Preventive Health Innovation in India

Harpreet Singh Rai, the former CEO of Oura and an early investor in Loop, has been appointed as President, Healthcare at Loop, a company dedicated to improving the health span of working Indians. Rai's extensive experience in scaling preventive health solutions is expected to significantly contribute to Loop's mission of adding 20 healthy years to the lives of its users. During his tenure at Oura, Rai was instrumental in launching the company's second and third-generation health-tracking rings, achieving sales of over 1 million units.

At Loop, Rai will oversee the development of healthcare products, collaborating with medical, product, and engineering teams to create user-friendly health management solutions. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to leverage his expertise in merging science, data, and human behavior to foster preventive healthcare. Mayank Kale, Co-founder and CEO at Loop, highlighted the importance of Rai's leadership in scaling preventive health measures beyond corporate environments, addressing the systemic preference for treating sickness over promoting health in India.

Rai's background includes nine years as a technology portfolio manager at Eminence Capital, with a focus on healthcare and technology investments, and a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan. His unique combination of skills is anticipated to accelerate Loop's prevention-first approach, making healthcare more accessible and engaging for millions of working Indians. Rai expressed his enthusiasm for contributing to Loop's innovative healthcare model, which aims to improve health outcomes one individual, family, and company at a time.
