High Street Perimeter introduces Dunwoody's first outdoor ice skating rink and comprehensive holiday events, transforming the newly opened mixed-use destination into a community gathering space for seasonal celebrations.

High Street in Atlanta's Perimeter has unveiled its complete holiday programming, featuring Dunwoody's inaugural outdoor ice skating rink alongside multiple festive experiences designed to establish the mixed-use destination as a seasonal gathering place. The holiday initiative represents a significant community investment by the newly opened development, offering both complimentary and ticketed events throughout November and December. According to Amari Holmes, Marketing Manager at High Street, the programming aims to transform the town center into a winter wonderland where guests can create lasting memories during the holiday season.
The centerpiece of the holiday offerings is High Street Skate, a brand-new ice rink that will operate on The Green from November 23 through January 19. The rink represents Dunwoody's first outdoor ice skating facility, providing a novel recreational option for Perimeter area residents. Tickets for the ice skating experience will be available both online through High Street's website and in person, with hours varying by day and operations contingent on weather conditions. The development will implement timed ticketing and safety protocols to ensure guest convenience and security throughout the skating season.
Beyond the ice rink, High Street will host multiple complementary holiday experiences. Agave Bandido's Maya Speak Tiki will transform into The Reindeer Room, a Christmas pop-up bar featuring festive cocktails and tropical holiday decor from November 19 through January 3. The community can also participate in Snapshots with Santa, complimentary photo sessions available Thursday through Sunday beginning November 28 in High Street's jewelbox space. Appointments for the Santa sessions will become available on November 11 through the event registration page.
Additional ticketed events include Merry & Make on December 11 and 18, an ornament decorating evening with festive cocktails priced at $40 per person with proceeds benefiting local charity. Storytime with Santa and Mrs. Claus will occur on December 13 and 20, featuring crafts, hot cocoa, and festive treats for $35 per family. The holiday season will conclude with High Street's Sip & Sparkle event on December 27, offering a live DJ, craft cocktails, and light bites for $40 per person. Information for all ticketed events can be found through the Merry & Make event page, the Storytime event page, and the Sip & Sparkle event page on High Street's website.
The comprehensive holiday programming demonstrates High Street's commitment to establishing itself as a community hub within the Perimeter area. By offering diverse experiences ranging from recreational activities to charitable events, the development positions itself as a destination for seasonal celebration beyond traditional retail offerings. The inclusion of Dunwoody's first outdoor ice rink particularly distinguishes High Street's holiday initiative, providing a unique attraction that could draw visitors from throughout the metropolitan area and establish new traditions for local families.
