Three major organizations are collaborating to create an expanded holiday light experience at Flamingo Gardens that will support educational and conservation missions while providing family entertainment.

Hoffman's Chocolates is bringing its Winter Wonderland to Flamingo Gardens for the 2025 holiday season in a new partnership that includes Amazon as presenting sponsor. The collaboration marks the 50th anniversary of Hoffman's holiday tradition and represents a significant expansion of the event to a new 10-acre location at the botanical gardens in Davie. The holiday extravaganza will run from November 22 through December 30, 2025, operating nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., with closures on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The event transforms Flamingo Gardens' Arboretum into a wonderland featuring thousands of colorful lights and luminous displays throughout the botanical gardens. Key attractions include a 35-foot Christmas tree presented by Florida Blue and Santa's Village presented by Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, where visitors can take free photos with Santa on select nights through December 23. Additional experiences include a Hoffman's Chocolates Pop-up Shop, The Sweet Ride ice cream truck, toasty s'mores and seasonal bites from Flamingo Pond Café, and nightly live musical performances.
Lois Marino, Executive Director of BBX Capital Foundation and Director of Community Engagement at BBX Capital, Inc., explained the move: "Hoffman's Chocolates Winter Wonderland has been a beloved holiday tradition for decades, and this year, we're making it more magical than ever. We outgrew our original space, but now, thanks to our amazing partnership with Flamingo Gardens and Amazon, we're turning up the holiday cheer in a big way."
Flamingo Gardens, established in 1927, is one of South Florida's oldest botanical gardens and attractions, serving as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving and educating about South Florida's natural and cultural heritage. Keith Clark, CEO of Flamingo Gardens, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership: "We're excited to host Hoffman's Chocolates Winter Wonderland at Flamingo Gardens and collaborate with both Hoffman's Chocolates and Amazon for this spectacular holiday experience. This partnership aligns perfectly with our vision to expand our holiday lights in a family-friendly way and will allow us to spread even more joy this year!"
Proceeds from the event will support Flamingo Gardens' educational and conservation mission, with a portion also benefiting the BBX Capital Foundation, which invests in programs focused on the arts, education and human services throughout South Florida. Angie Santibanez, Head of Community Engagement at Amazon, highlighted the community benefits: "Amazon is proud to support the return of this iconic South Florida tradition. We believe in partnering with local community traditions and creating joyful moments for families, and Hoffman's Chocolates Winter Wonderland at Flamingo Gardens offers exactly that — holiday magic, community connection and meaningful support for a great cause."
