Hong Kong Tech Pavilions at GITEX Global 2025 to Showcase AI Innovation and Connect with Middle East Markets

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation are organizing pavilions at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, featuring 22 exhibitors to showcase cutting-edge AI and technology solutions while exploring business opportunities in the rapidly growing Middle East market.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will collaborate with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) to present two pavilions at GITEX Global 2025, scheduled from October 13 to 17 in Dubai. This significant technology exhibition will feature 22 exhibitors demonstrating the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, robotics, Internet of Things, and green technology. The event represents a strategic effort to help Hong Kong's innovation and technology enterprises explore business opportunities in the rapidly expanding Middle East market while highlighting Hong Kong's unique advantages as an international innovation hub.
GITEX Global, celebrating its 45th edition this year, is anticipated to attract more than 200,000 attendees from over 180 countries, bringing together technology giants and innovative startups across various fields including AI, cybersecurity, smart mobility, and green technology. Daniel Lam, Regional Director of the Middle East and Africa for HKTDC, emphasized that Middle Eastern countries have been actively developing their AI capabilities in recent years, leveraging their unique advantages in low-cost energy and capital strength. The Hong Kong Tech Pavilions at GITEX Global will connect promising Hong Kong innovation and technology enterprises with partners throughout the Middle East and beyond, helping them expand into international innovation markets while attracting investors from the Middle East and worldwide to use Hong Kong as a gateway to China and the broader Asia region.
The exhibition features numerous Hong Kong companies focusing on AI services and solutions. The HKSAR Environmental Protection Department will showcase its AI applications for environmental assessment and planning, including the development of the AI Environmental Air Nuisance Investigation Robot Dog, building a Hong Kong environmental data repository, and creating AI systems for monitoring noise and wastewater. TradeMonday offers a vertical GenAI SaaS platform that automates retail analytics and workflows, transforming data into profit-driving decisions with pre-trained AI agents. Chain Technology Development Co. Limited will present its award-winning Digital Twin solution that combines AI, IoT data, and spatial intelligence to address needs in architecture, engineering, construction, and operation industries, contributing to smarter, safer, and more sustainable smart city development.
In addition to the main GITEX Global event, HKSTP will lead another pavilion at Expand North Star at Dubai Harbour from October 12-15, showcasing innovative solutions from 10 park companies. Participating startups will also compete in the Supernova Challenge pitching competition, while The Hong Kong Polytechnic University will present its technological achievements and business solutions. The HKTDC will host a networking dinner on October 14 together with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Dubai, expected to attract approximately 80 industry representatives from local and international sectors. The organization will also conduct 12 pitching sessions where participating companies will present their innovative solutions to investors, businesses, and government agencies.
