HWPL World Peace Summit Marks 10 Years of Global Peace Initiatives

The international peace organization Heavenly Culture, World Peace, and Restoration of Light (HWPL) is preparing to host its 10th Annual World Peace Summit on September 18, 2024. This milestone event, themed 'Creating World Peace Community Through Regional Collaboration,' will be held simultaneously in South Korea and 122 other countries, marking a decade of dedicated global peace efforts.

Since its inception in 2014, the HWPL World Peace Summit has brought together thousands of global leaders from diverse sectors, including politics, religion, women's groups, youth organizations, and media outlets. The inaugural summit in Seoul, which drew participants from approximately 140 countries, focused on critical issues such as conflict resolution, religious harmony, and the implementation of legal frameworks to foster lasting peace.

This year's anniversary summit aims to accomplish two primary objectives: to review the achievements made since 2014 and to formulate future strategies for peace. HWPL emphasizes the importance of gathering regional talents and establishing networks crucial for developing tailored peace strategies. The organization's efforts over the past decade have been guided by agreements signed in 2014. What is politics, and for whom is it for? When war breaks out, it is young people who are sacrificed. Peace cannot be achieved through words alone. If peace had won in this world, there would have been no regrettable deaths. We must leave peace as a legacy to the global community where our descendants will live."
