Bogin, Munns & Munns attorney Amin R. Yacoub has been recognized by the ABA Young Lawyers Division for his exceptional work in business immigration, highlighting the importance of dedicated legal advocacy in navigating U.S. immigration.

Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A. announced that immigration attorney Amin R. Yacoub has been selected as a recipient of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division's 2026 On the Rise — Top 40 Young Lawyers Award. The national award recognizes 40 ABA young lawyer members who demonstrate exceptional achievement, innovation, leadership and service to the legal profession and their communities.
Yacoub was chosen for his accomplishments as a business immigration attorney, legal scholar and advocate for individuals and businesses navigating the U.S. immigration system. Based in Orlando, he represents clients nationwide in employment-based immigration matters, with a particular focus on EB-2 National Interest Waiver and EB-1 Extraordinary Ability petitions. His personal experience of obtaining permanent residency through the National Interest Waiver process gives him a unique perspective that few immigration attorneys can offer, understanding firsthand the stakes for professionals, entrepreneurs, physicians, scientists, engineers, researchers and investors who seek his representation.
"Immigration cases are rarely just paperwork. They decide where someone builds a career, raises a family and contributes their work," said Yacoub. "I went through the National Interest Waiver process myself, so I know what my clients are carrying while they wait. This recognition belongs as much to them as it does to me."
Spencer Munns, President at Bogin, Munns & Munns, added, "This national recognition reflects Amin's commitment to excellence, innovation and service. His knowledge of immigration law, thoughtful approach to advocacy and dedication to his clients make him an important member of our firm and a deserving recipient of this honor."
Yacoub is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and multiple federal courts. His professional work extends beyond client representation; he is also an accomplished legal scholar whose published work has been cited by courts and scholars in the United States and internationally. He earned a Master of Laws in International Law from New York University School of Law, where he received a full-tuition scholarship and served as a graduate editor of the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics.
The ABA Young Lawyers Division announced its 2026 class of honorees on June 30, 2026. For more information about Bogin, Munns & Munns, visit boginmunns.com.
