inDrive.Money Expands Financial Services to Brazilian Drivers Through New Loan Platform

inDrive, a global mobility platform operating in 48 countries, has launched inDrive.Money in Brazil to enhance financial inclusion for drivers by providing immediate access to cash loans directly through its application. This initiative partners with EmpreX, a Latin American fintech specializing in small business financing, to streamline the loan process within the inDrive ecosystem. Alexander Kurchin, Head of Growth at inDrive.Money, emphasized that the service supports the economic independence of hundreds of thousands of Brazilian drivers who rely on the platform for income, building on successful implementations in Mexico, Colombia, and Peru.

The integration allows drivers to apply for and repay loans with minimal effort, transforming what was once a complex procedure into a seamless digital experience. Initial feedback indicates high satisfaction, with 86% of users expressing willingness to reuse the service and recommend it to others, correlating with increased driver engagement on the platform. Currently available in approximately 90 cities including Manaus, Fortaleza, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, Florianópolis, Campinas, and Marabá, the goal is to expand coverage to all Brazilian locations where inDrive operates.

Silvan Roth, CEO of EmpreX, highlighted that many service providers in Brazil face exploitative loan terms, and this partnership offers a fair alternative by embedding credit options directly into the inDrive app. EmpreX manages the entire assessment and disbursement process, including scoring and repayment terms, with regulatory compliance supported through its collaboration with BMP SCD, a licensed Brazilian financial institution. This approach ensures that drivers receive working capital promptly, enabling them to maintain their vehicles and sustain their livelihoods without interruption.

This launch is part of inDrive's broader strategy to diversify beyond ride-hailing and align with its mission to improve the lives of 1 billion people by 2030 through fair services and expanded financial inclusion. By leveraging its extensive user base and technological infrastructure, inDrive.Money not only addresses immediate financial needs but also fosters long-term economic resilience for drivers in emerging markets.
