inDrive.Money Launches Digital Loan Service for Brazilian Drivers to Enhance Financial Inclusion

inDrive, a global mobility and urban services platform, has launched inDrive.Money in Brazil, offering digital loans specifically designed for drivers through its ride-hailing application. This initiative partners with EmpreX, a Latin American fintech specializing in small business financing, to provide loans up to R$3,000 (approximately USD 548) directly within the inDrive app. The service aims to address the significant gap in financial inclusion faced by gig workers, who often struggle to access fair credit from traditional banks due to stringent credit history requirements.

Approved borrowers benefit from an average loan term of five months until the first payment, with approximately 10% to 14% of each ride's value automatically allocated toward repayment. This seamless integration eliminates fixed daily commitments, allowing drivers to manage cash flow flexibly. Alexander Kurchin, Head of Growth at inDrive.Money, emphasized the platform's mission to empower users with fair choices, noting that Brazil is a critical market with hundreds of thousands of driver partners relying on inDrive for income. The launch builds on successful implementations in Mexico, Colombia, and Peru, offering a proven financial tool to strengthen economic independence.

Stefano Mazzaferro, Country Manager of inDrive in Brazil, highlighted that inDrive.Money provides a more advantageous alternative to credit card-based solutions, operating with low-interest loans and enhancing financial freedom. The service is integrated into the inDrive app, enabling drivers to check offers and apply for credit swiftly, with EmpreX managing the entire assessment process, including scoring and regulatory compliance through its partnership with BMP SCD, a licensed Brazilian financial institution. Initial operations show high engagement and satisfaction, with 86% of users indicating they would take another loan and recommend the solution.

The availability of inDrive.Money across approximately 90 Brazilian cities, including major hubs like Manaus and Belo Horizonte, underscores its broad accessibility. Silvan Roth, CEO of EmpreX, stated that the integration transforms complex borrowing processes into simple taps, providing real working capital when needed most. By incorporating financial services directly into its platform, inDrive continues to combat injustices and expand drivers' freedoms, contributing to financial inclusion and supporting the national economy through reliable, transparent lending solutions.
