Inland Marine Underwriters Association Taps Matthew Derrick as New President and CEO

The Inland Marine Underwriters Association (IMUA) has selected Matthew Derrick as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, a strategic appointment aimed at advancing the organization's commitment to technological innovation and professional growth in the insurance sector.

Derrick brings over two decades of leadership experience, most recently serving as CEO of Kodeco.com, where he managed a global team of more than 300 employees and successfully rebranded the organization. His prior leadership included developing customizable learning assessments and professional certification programs that significantly expanded the company's professional education reach.

Tony Falcone, President of Intact Inland Marine, expressed confidence in Derrick's appointment, highlighting his exceptional track record in digital transformation and professional development. Falcone noted that Derrick's leadership is expected to build upon recent IMUA initiatives, including their new website and learning portal.
