Intuit IDEAS Program Expands Nationally to Empower Small Businesses

Intuit Inc. has announced the national expansion of its IDEAS (Invest, Develop, Empower, Accelerate, and Scale) accelerator program, in collaboration with the National Urban League. This initiative, now accepting applications, aims to support small businesses across nine U.S. cities and a nationwide cohort of veterans and military spouse entrepreneurs. The program leverages Intuit's AI-driven products and expert coaching to help participants achieve significant business growth and operational efficiency.

Participants of the IDEAS program gain complimentary access to Intuit's financial technology platform, including TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Credit Karma, alongside business and executive coaching from the National Urban League and Zella Life. The program's impact is evident from its inaugural year, with participants reporting an average 23% revenue increase and saving 16.5 hours monthly. The expansion to Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, New Orleans, New York City, and San Diego, alongside a dedicated cohort for military veterans and spouses, underscores the program's success and scalability.

David Graham, Senior Vice President of Customer Success at Intuit, highlighted the program's alignment with Intuit's mission to empower small businesses through technology and support. Marc H. Morial, President and CEO of the National Urban League, emphasized the program's role in addressing the challenges small businesses face, from access to capital to the need for strategic support. The IDEAS program not only provides technology grants and cash grants but also fosters professional growth and confidence among entrepreneurs, as shared by Emilio Daniel Vasquez, CEO of Coffee Cart Boys and an IDEAS participant.

The application for the Intuit IDEAS program is now open, with a deadline of July 21, 2025, for interested business owners in the selected cities and veteran entrepreneurs nationwide. This expansion represents a significant opportunity for small businesses to leverage Intuit's resources and the National Urban League's expertise to achieve sustainable growth and success.
