King Global Ventures Advances Arizona Exploration Amid U.S. Mining Workforce Push

King Global Ventures Inc. (CSE: KING) (OTCQB: KGLDF) (FSE: 5LM1) is advancing its exploration efforts at the Black Canyon/Silver Cord project near Cleator, Arizona, against a backdrop of renewed U.S. federal focus on rebuilding domestic mining workforce capacity and securing critical mineral supply chains. The company is currently executing a 14,000-foot diamond drill program at the Iron Horse target, designed to test priority geophysical anomalies for potential VMS-style sulphide mineralization within the Lower Spud Mountain Formation.

Recent drilling, geological mapping, and XRF analysis have identified prospective volcanic stratigraphy, hydrothermal alteration, feeder-style geochemical responses, and multiple marker horizons. Wedge drilling from hole IH-26-03 is being utilized to further evaluate the target at depth. This work follows up on previous drilling at Silver Cord, completed in December 2025, which intersected high-grade polymetallic veins containing silver, gold, lead, zinc, and antimony. One notable intersection returned 9 feet grading 619.6 g/t silver, 1.0 g/t gold, 0.6% lead, 1.05% zinc, and 375 g/t antimony.

The company highlights a recent White House announcement from Aug. 7, 2026, outlining $100 million in funding for 14 U.S. mining schools as part of more than $2 billion in new mining and mining-related investments, and over $180 million in mining school and workforce funding. This policy backdrop is seen by King Global as potentially supportive for domestic exploration companies targeting strategic minerals such as antimony, which is critical for various defense and technology applications.

The Black Canyon Project in Yavapai County, Arizona, comprises 213 contiguous concessions covering 4,000 acres, including 15 former operating mines, such as the past-producing Howard Copper Mine. Situated approximately 62 miles north of Phoenix, the project represents an early-stage exploration opportunity targeting copper-gold-silver-zinc VMS mineralization. The area's geology is notable for the presence of various base and precious metal deposit types, with a significant history of mining operations including Bagdad, Jerome, and Cleopatra. The property is on trend and about 8 miles northwest of Arizona Metals Corp. (T:AMC).

The Howard Copper Mine Property, on 78 acres of patented land, was discovered in the early 1920s and saw small-scale production focused on high-grade copper. Historical reports indicate the main shaft reached the 900-foot level, but ore was not mined below the 500-foot level.

In addition to its Arizona operations, King Global holds the Mikwam Gold Property in northeastern Ontario, located along the Casa Berardi Deformation Zone that hosts Detour Gold's Burntbush Property. The Mikwam deposit is hosted within Timiskaming-aged polymictic conglomerate and greywacke units, containing disseminated and vein-hosted gold mineralization associated with quartz-carbonate veins and pyrite.

As the U.S. government moves to bolster domestic mining education and investment, companies like King Global Ventures are positioned to benefit from increased support for exploration of critical minerals. The ongoing drill program at Iron Horse aims to further define the mineralization potential at the Black Canyon project, contributing to the broader goal of strengthening domestic supply chains.
