Kingsoft Reports 284% Profit Surge in Q1 2026, Driven by AI-Enhanced Office Business

Kingsoft Corporation Limited (HKEx: 03888) reported a 284% year-on-year increase in profit attributable to owners of the parent for the first quarter of 2026, reaching RMB1.09 billion, according to unaudited results released on May 28. Total revenue rose 3% to RMB2.42 billion, driven primarily by the office software and services segment, which grew 24% to RMB1.61 billion. The online games and others segment saw a 22% decline to RMB803.5 million, partly due to early monetization of new title Goose Goose Duck.

The company attributed office business growth to its core strategy of 'AI, Collaboration, and Internationalization.' WPS Office's AI features, including monthly active user growth and higher conversion rates, were key drivers. Kingsoft Office Group continued to upgrade AI products and expand refined operations in domestic and overseas markets. The WPS 365 business saw increased adoption among private enterprises and local state-owned enterprises, while government AI products supported digital transformation. Revenue from WPS software benefited from growing localization demand.

In online games, JX3 Online maintained a stable user base through Spring Festival events and an April expansion pack. The flagship version completed graphics optimization and gameplay iteration. Goose Goose Duck, released in January, focused on user base growth and is still in early monetization. The company plans to increase R&D investment in core games and leverage AI for content creation.

Chairman Jun Lei stated the company remains committed to technology empowerment, with Kingsoft Office Group deepening AI capabilities and focusing on Agent products.
