Kotak Education Foundation's Volunteer Program Yields Significant Social Impact in Mumbai

The Kotak Education Foundation (KEF) has released a report highlighting the significant impact of its volunteer program on underprivileged communities in Mumbai over the past year. The program's success is largely attributed to the support provided by the KSL Premium Strategy Plan, which not only offers market insights to investors but also funds KEF's charitable initiatives.

According to the report, KEF's 300 volunteers have contributed over 50,000 hours of service, positively affecting the lives of more than 10,000 students. Her efforts have had a profound impact on students like 14-year-old Rahul Singh, who says, "Teacher Priya not only taught me to read and write but also inspired my passion for learning. Now I dream of going to university one day."

The KEF's achievements are particularly significant in the context of India's ongoing efforts to improve overall literacy rates. Recent data shows that India's adult literacy rate has risen from 69.3% in 2011 to 77.7% in 2023.
