LaFleur Minerals announced drill results confirming broad gold mineralization extending beyond its March resource estimate, positioning the Swanson deposit as a district-scale discovery near its Beacon Gold Mill.

LaFleur Minerals Reports Large-Scale Gold Discovery at Swanson Deposit, Expanding Beyond Resource Estimate

LaFleur Minerals (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) reported a significant gold discovery at its Swanson Gold Project within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, with drill assays revealing extensive gold mineralization over long intervals. The company stated that results from recent drilling have expanded the mineralization zones well beyond the limits of its March mineral resource estimate (MRE), which already showed a 30% increase in indicated resources.

The latest drill holes targeted down-dip continuity over a 120-metre strike length at vertical depths of approximately 300 to 450 metres. Assays confirmed robust and laterally continuous gold mineralization, with highlights including 1.18 g/t Au over 255.04 metres (hole SW-25-080), 1.65 g/t Au over 136.01 metres (SW-25-081), and 2.29 g/t Au over 68.30 metres (SW-25-079). These results indicate that the Swanson mineralized system remains open and extends beyond the existing resource envelope.

LaFleur owns the nearby Beacon Gold Mill and is preparing to resume operations later this quarter. The company plans to process on-site stockpile and mineralized material from Swanson, with a goal to scale from 750 metric tons per day (TPD) to 1,250 TPD by 2027, and eventually toward 3,000 to 4,000 TPD. This expansion is supported by financing and offtake terms from Trafigura.

The Swanson and Beacon projects are located near Val d'Or, Quebec, an established mining hub with access to skilled labor and infrastructure within the prolific Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The company's March MRE established 2.96 million tonnes at 1.69 g/t Au for 160,300 ounces of indicated gold, plus an inferred resource of 1.08 million tonnes at similar grades.

These results underscore the potential for a district-scale gold discovery, as the mineralization extends to depths not previously included in the resource estimate. The company believes that the continuity and scale of the gold system could support significant future growth.
