LataMed AI and FARMASER Partner to Develop AI-Powered Pharmacy Automation Platform

LataMed AI Corp. (OTC: LMED), a healthcare technology company focused on digital health and artificial intelligence solutions for Latin America, announced today that its Venezuelan subsidiary, LATAMEDAI VE, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with FARMASER to develop a customized artificial intelligence and automation platform. The platform is designed to support the pharmacy chain's current operations and planned expansion across Venezuela.

Under the MOU, the parties will collaborate on the design, adaptation, testing, and evaluation of a software platform tailored to FARMASER's operational requirements. This includes defining technical and operational specifications, adapting the software to FARMASER's pharmacy workflows, and establishing a phased development and testing process. The platform is expected to incorporate e-commerce, prescription-management, customer-service, inventory-planning, and business-analytics functions.

A key component of the proposed collaboration is the potential integration of LataMed AI's CardioAI, PulmoAI, and NeuroAI technologies across FARMASER's three existing pharmacy locations and up to 15 planned additional locations. These AI-supported platforms are designed to assist healthcare professionals in evaluating cardiovascular, pulmonary, and neurological health information. The company emphasizes that any prescription-related or AI-supported functionality would be designed to assist administrative, operational, and healthcare workflows and would not replace the professional judgment of authorized pharmacists or medical professionals.

The parties are also evaluating an annual software licensing or subscription model for any commercial implementation. However, the scope, timing, pricing, and other terms remain to be finalized and are subject to successful development, testing, and agreement on commercial terms.

Management believes this collaboration aligns with LataMed AI's broader strategy of building an integrated healthcare ecosystem that connects patients, healthcare professionals, pharmacies, insurers, and other stakeholders. The proposed FARMASER platform represents a potential enterprise application of the company's technology beyond its patient-facing telemedicine services, creating infrastructure that could be adapted for other healthcare organizations throughout Latin America.

The MOU establishes a framework for cooperation but does not guarantee successful completion or commercial deployment of the platform, integration of AI technologies, execution of a definitive licensing agreement, opening of additional FARMASER locations, or revenue generation.
