LAURION Mineral Exploration's new drill assays from the Ishkoday project show significant gold, silver, copper, and zinc intercepts, prompting an expanded drilling program that could lead to a maiden mineral resource estimate.

LAURION's Latest Drill Results Reveal High-Grade Gold and Base Metals at Ishkoday, Paving Way for Maiden Resource Estimate

LAURION Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: LME | OTC: LMEFF | FSE: 5YD) has reported assay results from two drill holes, LBX26-106 and LBX26-107, part of its ongoing 2026 Phase 1 diamond drilling program at the 100%-owned Ishkoday Gold and Polymetallic Project in Northwestern Ontario. The results include multiple high-grade intercepts of gold, silver, copper, and zinc, underscoring the project's potential as a large mineralized system.

Drill hole LBX26-106 returned 3.75 meters grading 0.568 g/t gold, 12.40 g/t silver, 0.46% copper, and 1.75% zinc from 278.75 m to 282.50 m, including a higher-grade sub-interval of 2.30 meters at 0.886 g/t gold, 19.26 g/t silver, 0.73% copper, and 1.64% zinc. A narrower interval of 0.50 meters assayed 1.730 g/t gold, 43.20 g/t silver, 1.51% copper, and 3.40% zinc. Additional intercepts include 4.70 meters at 0.582 g/t gold, 2.53 g/t silver, 0.07% copper, and 0.93% zinc from 172.50 m, and 2.70 meters at 0.742 g/t gold, 3.88 g/t silver, 0.10% copper, and 1.58% zinc from 174.50 m, with a 0.50-meter sub-interval grading 3.220 g/t gold, 9.70 g/t silver, 0.30% copper, and 6.29% zinc.

Drill hole LBX26-107 intersected 1.15 meters grading 1.374 g/t gold, 10.10 g/t silver, 0.49% copper, and 2.01% zinc from 239.80 m, including 0.50 meters at 1.170 g/t gold, 20.10 g/t silver, 1.03% copper, and 3.64% zinc. Another interval returned 2.90 meters at 0.608 g/t gold, 11.93 g/t silver, 0.34% copper, and 0.93% zinc from 351.40 m, including 0.80 meters at 1.975 g/t gold, 39.50 g/t silver, 1.45% copper, and 2.72% zinc.

These results are significant because they confirm the continuity and geometry of mineralization at depth and along strike, which is critical for advancing the A-Zone toward a potential maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The drilling was designed to test the A-Zone and McLeod mineralized systems, tighten drill spacing, and evaluate priority geophysical targets. The positive assays support LAURION's systematic approach to de-risking the project and enhancing geological confidence.

In response to the encouraging results, LAURION has increased its planned Phase 1 drilling from 3,865 meters to 5,605 meters across 22 drill holes. This expanded program is informed by SRK Consulting's independent structural gap analysis of the A-Zone, which identified five priority target areas to address key gaps in the existing drill database. The company is using this framework to prioritize near-term drilling as it continues to advance the A-Zone toward a potential MRE.

The Ishkoday Project covers approximately 57 km² within the prolific Beardmore-Geraldton and Onaman-Tashota Greenstone Belts and hosts a single 6.0 km by 2.5 km mineralized corridor. Historical and modern exploration programs have completed over 98,000 meters of drilling, confirming a large and evolving gold-rich base metal mineral system. LAURION's strategy emphasizes disciplined, data-driven exploration, systematic technical advancement, integrated geological modelling, and responsible capital allocation. The company is focused on strengthening geological confidence, expanding the scale of the mineral system, and positioning the project for a potential future MRE.
