Loulou Lollipop Unveils Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap for Year-Round Comfort

Loulou Lollipop has expanded its Big Dreams sleep collection with the introduction of the Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap, a product designed to provide secure, womb-like comfort for newborns while allowing leg movement. The swaddle wrap, now available on LoulouLollipop.com and LoulouLollipop.ca, is a finalist for the Baby Safety Award of Excellence from the Baby Safety Alliance, with public voting open until September 13, 2026.

The creation of the swaddle wrap was inspired by co-founder Angel Kho's personal struggles with traditional swaddling. Her first daughter required swaddling for nearly six months, but Kho found that existing products failed to keep her baby's arms contained, leading to frequent night wakings. "She always managed to wiggle one arm out — even through the zipper opening — and she'd wake herself up in the middle of the night," Kho recalled. "I even tried elastic bands around the shoulders just to keep her arms in. Looking back, it's almost comical. At the time, I was completely exhausted."

The Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap addresses these issues with a soft, silent closure that wraps around the baby's torso, providing gentle tension and a snug fit. Unlike traditional swaddles, it allows the legs to move freely, similar to a sleep bag, promoting healthy hip development. The wrap is available in three popular prints and extends the Big Dreams collection, which already includes the award-winning Sleep Bag recognized by Good Housekeeping in 2025, back to the newborn stage.

Safety and sustainability are at the forefront of the product's design. The swaddle wrap is made from TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric, a breathable material derived from wood pulp, which helps regulate body temperature for babies who cannot yet do so themselves. The insulation blends 30% TENCEL™ Lyocell with 70% DuPont™ Sorona®, a fiber that incorporates plant-based content from corn (37%). Additionally, the wrap is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, ensuring every component has been tested for harmful substances.

The Baby Safety Award of Excellence, presented by the Baby Safety Alliance, is determined by public vote, giving parents a direct say in recognizing products that enhance infant safety.
