Lucid Design District has selected 22 international artists for CHROMA 2025, focusing on vital impulses in contemporary art and highlighting themes of resilience and sustainability during Miami Art Week.

Lucid Design District has announced the 22 artists selected for CHROMA 2025 – Vital Impulses in Contemporary Art, running from December 3–17, 2025. Now in its fourth edition, the exhibition provides a platform for discovering diverse artistic voices during Miami Art Week and Art Basel Miami Beach. Curated by Graciela Montich, CHROMA 2025 presents eight returning artists alongside fourteen new participants from across the globe, probing the instinctual drive behind creation and inviting audiences to consider how art channels resilience, sustainability, and shared humanity across borders.
The exhibition features artists including Cari Cohen from Miami, Carina Adur from Argentina, Debora Levy from San Diego, and international participants such as Mauro Arbiza from Uruguay and Mulata Von Kindy from Australia. Montich states, "We have sought works that provoke reflection, awaken emotion, and spark dialogue between artist and audience. The 2025 selection exemplifies the extraordinary range of impulses that define contemporary art today." The Opening Reception will take place on Wednesday, December 3, from 4:00–7:00 PM at Lucid Design District, located at 10 NE 41st Street, Miami, FL 33137.
New voices in the exhibition include Vanessa Gilbert from Canada, whose minimalist sculptures made with recycled and sustainable materials merge human imagination with natural forms. Gilbert expresses, "Taking part in the CHROMA exhibition at Lucid Gallery, located in the heart of the Design District during Art Basel Miami, is truly a dream come true." Her practice invites reflection on consumption, renewal, and the role of art in shaping a more conscious future. Another featured artist, Debora Levy from San Diego, presents her Resilience series, which explores human vulnerability, perseverance, and strength through expressive portraits. Levy notes, "This opportunity allows me to share my latest work with a wider audience and contribute to a vibrant dialogue around creativity, resilience, and artistic expression."
Sebastian de la Paz, a pop artist originally from Quito and now based in Miami, contributes his Echoes of Expression series to CHROMA 2025. Inspired by Warhol and Lichtenstein, his bold canvases transform familiar hand gestures into striking visual statements. By blending street art immediacy with pop iconography, his work interrogates how communication evolves in an increasingly digital age. Together, these artists highlight how resilience, sustainability, and visual language converge under the curatorial theme of Vital Impulses. Admission to the exhibition is free with RSVP, and more information can be found on their website at https://luciddesigndistrict.com. The space has become a cornerstone of the Miami Design District’s art scene since its founding by Payal Tak in 2021, featuring solo-curio spaces, an expansive reception gallery, and an outdoor installation wall dedicated to showcasing bold voices across all career stages.
